United Way of Mid Coast Maine works to improve the lives of people in Brunswick, Harpswell, Sagadahoc and Lincoln Counties. Our office is in Bath.
In addition to changing individual lives, we focus on community impact -- creating long lasting change in our communities to prevent problems from happening in the first place. We are pursuing 23 Community Goals to reach our vision of the future for Mid Coast Maine.
United Way of Mid Coast Maine includes thousands of donors, hundreds of workplaces, 38 partner agencies, and other partners. Our United Way is celebrating our 50th anniversary -- the Bath Area United Fund was formed in 1956! We are an integral part of our Mid Coast Maine community.
We are an independent, local organization. Local volunteers make all policy and funding decisions.
Our local Board of Directors and many other volunteers work with the staff to ensure high levels of accountability to our donors and the people we serve. You can read more about our work in our Annual Report, or please contact us if you have questions or would like to volunteer!
