"We can not live for ourselves alone.
Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads,
and along these sympathethic fibers,
our actions run as causes and return to us as results."
- Herman Melville

Community Builder Awards

We often find that critical services, as they exist, are not always enough to meet the needs of everyone in the community for a variety of reasons. It often takes an individual or organization that is willing to ask the next question, take the next risk, find the needed resources, or create the collaborations to ensure that more people are ehlped. We thank these individuals and organizations for their creative approach to meeting needs in our community that are sometimes overwhelming.

In 2003, as part of our enmphasis on Community Impact, we established the Annual Community Builder Awards. The purpose of this award is to recognize individuals and organizations in the community who have helped to identify significant issues affecting our community and have initiated steps towards solutions that will help to address these particular needs.

Our sincere thanks and congratulations to all our Community Builder Award recipients!
