What is a Loaned Executive/Campaign Assistant?
Loaned Executives/Campaign Assistants are exceptional people who are assigned to work in at our United Way for a period of 11 weeks this fall as a professional development and community service experience. Loaned Executives are selected by the Chief Executive Officer of an
organization or from the community. They should be self assured enthusiastic, reliable and looking for an opportunity to grow.
After receiving extensive training by United Way, Loaned executives plan and organize employee campaigns at local companies and organizations. They are assigned reponsibilities for multiple accounts and workd closely with staff and community volunteers to reach concrete goals for the United Way campaign.
Experience has shown that the challenging intensive Loaned Executive experience successfully develops employees' skills in project and time management, working cooperatively with others, motivating people and taking initiative.
