United Way of Mid Coast Maine knows the importance of matching donations of goods with agencies in need! We are proud to work with all 10 United Ways in Maine to create and maintain a
statewide website service for gifts in kind - VolunteerMaine Partnership's
DonationsLINK. This is a first-in-the-nation such statewide collaboration! Our other partners are the Maine Emergency Management Agency and the Maine Commission for Community Service.
To Donate Goods:
Individuals, groups, and businesses that have items to donate or desire to meet a specific need of a community program, can search the listings for needs or register on the VolunteerMaine site and list available items. The database will notify agencies when items become available or agencies can be contacted directly using pre-formatted emails or listed contact information. Only registered agencies can see items that are listed for donation.
Agencies Seeking Donations of Goods:
Agencies that need items for their programs and participants, can register their program and list their needs in the DonationsLINK section of VolunteerMaine.
It is FREE to all users.
It REACHES the entire state.
It's EASY TO USE.
It WORKS for all public, non-profit, emergency management and civic volunteer efforts.
