Being the Best You Can Be--Ordinary People Learning to Be Extraordinary Leaders

Are you ready to learn how to be an extraordinary leader?  Volunteer administrators are constantly leading!  But we all can learn to do better.

Cheryl is a Senior Program Director at Maine Development Foundation. Joining the Foundation in 2000, she directs Leadership Maine, Policy Leaders Academy, and is responsible for membership and fund raising at MDF.

With more than 30 years of nonprofit experience, she has directed both large and small nonprofits, and runs a small business. Since moving to Maine in 1988 she has worked as director of volunteer services for CMMC in Lewiston, and is past executive director of the National Kidney Foundation of Maine.

Carol Taylor is a coach and consultant and the founder of the Institute for a Created Future, an organization that forwards ideas and empowers individuals and organizations to bring about profound and sustainable transformation in the world.

She is currently consulting with the Maine Development Foundation, temporarily directing the Maine Employers’ Initiative, Next Step Maine, and Education Leaders Experience programs. Carol maintains a one-on-one coaching practice and provides training, consulting and support to organizations in New England.
